On 9 April 2002 at Landcom's Moderate Income Housing Seminar , Marton Marosszeky and Perry Forsythe presented the outcomes of ACCI's latest research identifying international innovations that have the potential for creating cost efficiencies in housing construction. Dr Khalid Karim was a key part of the team.

The whole-day seminar was well attended by representatives of a broad spectrum of stakeholders including builders, developers, government agencies, and the Joint Industry Housing Group.

ACCI has identified and presented overseas and local innovations, which have the potential to deliver housing cost reductions, in a database on the web.

The project was sponsored by Landcom NSW as part of its strategy to make housing more accessible for the moderate income segment of the population.
